Aerial Arts with an emphasis on Aerial Smarts
Climb. Contort. Twist up in beautiful wraps. That’s the art.
The smarts? Building the discipline of safe biomechanical movement, and swiftly sculpting the strength and stamina to soar… like an aerial star.
We’re aerial educators, and we train you to apply principles of proper body alignment to every skill you learn. You’ll develop brains as much as brawn, and the result is beauty in movement.
To master your skills you need to observe with a coach’s eye to detail, respond wisely to what you see, and compassionately evaluate the results.
Master • Observe • Respond • Evaluate
This approach is built right into the library.
We custom-programmed our library to present the skills just as we teach them. It’s like getting inside our coaching brains.
AERIAL FIT ONLINE IS FOR EXPERIENCED TEACHERS, NEW TEACHERS, AND SERIOUS STUDENTS.

BASIC Aerial Silks Inverted Skills Info
Beginner aerialists will learn their inversions with support, over a fabric knot. As they get stronger they’ll learn to hold themselves upside down just with their grip, shoulder, and core strength. Then as they get more experience, they’ll learn how to create all sorts of supports from those inverted positions. Those aerial silk supports are where the magic happens because those supports can lead to rolls, drops, flourishes, and many more exciting movements on aerial silks.
Inverted skills also involve a hefty dose of fabric theory. Learning the wraps is where students begin to understand how to sequence moves together on aerial silks.
Our curriculum includes progressions for a variety of inverted skills on aerial silks from beginner through advanced, and they’re detailed on our tutorial website. Reach out and let us know if you like being upside down on aerial silks.

I'm glad our tips were helpful! We never push through pain, instead, stop and reevaluate. A different approach might be needed.

Gorgeous!
Omg… 😵
Really enjoying your channel! Quick question... do you have any suggestions for grip strength? I'm getting strong everywhere else but still can't grip with one hand.
Thank you, that's great to hear! Grip strength has a lot to do with shoulder mechanics and strength, so that's where we start with aerial-specific strengthening and mobility exercises in addition to regular on apparatus training. Our Aerial Movement Science: The Shoulder Complex course addresses these issues for aerialists, and it's on sale at 50% off for Black Friday (through Nov 30th 2022). Use code BlackFriday to get 50% off... www.aerialfitonline.com/pricing/shoulder-complex-course-pricing/
